This hands-on workshop for elementary school students featured rice harvesting and cooking rice in an earthen pot to make rice balls!
While manual rice harvesting is rare nowadays, the children happily got covered in mud while enjoying this rare chance to experience working in a rice paddy!
We hope this experience sparks an interest in agriculture for at least one child, leading them to become a farmer someday.
