OVERVIEW

A bus tour around Kanazawa city with the theme of Samurai culture.
Stroll around Japanese garden famous in Kanazawa such as Kenrokuen garden and Kanazawa Castle park. and visit beautiful and elegant Seisonkaku Villa built by the Maeda family.
Enjoy lunch in the Tsujike teien garden. (The Tsujike family has a connection with the Maeda family.) You can stroll around the garden created by the famous gardener in Kyoto.

In case of rain, please bring rain gear, etc.
Please wear comfortable walking shoes.

SCHEDULE

  1. 9:30
    Departure from Toyama Prefectural Citizens Hall.
  2. 10:40-11:30
    Take a walk around kanazawa Castle.
  3. 11:40-12:50
    Kenrokuen Garden/garden walk & visit Seisonkaku Villa/In the Ultramarine Room, vermillion walls extend from the ultramarine ceiling, creating a brilliantly colored room.
  4. 13:00-14:50
    TSUJIKE-TEIEN garden/garden walk & lunch Walking around Tsujike teien garden, then enjoy lunch.
  5. 15:05-16:00
    Nagamachi Samurai District / a beautiful historic preserved area where the samurai of the powerful Maeda clan once reside. Take a stroll back in time and feel the lifestyle of the samurai during the Edo period (1603-1867)
  6. 17:00
    Return to Toyama Prefectural Citizens Hall.
The time of return may vary depending on the progress of the tour.
