*Accommodations: “Zenraku,” a traditional Japanese inn converted from a former fishing master’s house over 150 years old
*The yukata experience will consist of either a dressing session at the event or a scheduled dressing session at “Zenraku.”

    Bamboo Grove & Forest Area / Current situation where abandoned bamboo groves are expanding (bamboo damage) due to forest management issues, an aging population, and a shortage of workers / Bamboo harvesting 

  3. 11:30

    Sasagawa Architecture Workshop / Discussion on carpentry tools and woodworking == (Transfer by chartered vehicle) ==

  4. 12:30

    Lunch

  5. (Part 1) Hands-on experience making geta (wooden sandals) using cedar wood, guided by a carpenter.

  6. (Part 2) Bamboo lantern making and bamboo tube rice cooking...

  7. Dinner (BBQ featuring ingredients from the mountains and seas of Imizu, plus bamboo tube rice)...

  8. Night walk along the Uchikawa River wearing geta and carrying bamboo lanterns

  9. 【Day 2】 

    Breakfast at the traditional Japanese inn “Zenraku”

    Enjoy the “Hydrangea Festival” in geta sandals and yukata
