The best part of Namerikawa's fireworks is the giant "Sho-sanjakudama" that lights up the sky and sea of Toyama Bay.

The “Shōsan-shaku” firework—one of the largest in the prefecture, with a diameter of approximately 90 centimeters that blooms into a massive flower some 600 meters high in the sky—will be launched spectacularly from the sea.

For the grand finale, star mines launched simultaneously from multiple locations will fill the night sky, and the entire venue will be filled with cheers. 

The colorful fireworks launched one after another will bring the summer night to a dazzling close.

The Furusato Ryugu Festival Maritime Fireworks Display takes place on the evening of the second day (Sunday) of the “Furusato Ryugu Festival,” which is held over two days—a Saturday and Sunday—in mid-July each year.
